Commission:

Staff working in a sales environment are often entitled to earn commission. The level paid is determined by job role and is communicated in advance of your appointment.

Pension scheme:

This operates as a contributory stakeholder compliant scheme which staff will receive more details on following completion of three months’ service

Life assurance:

All employees are immediately eligible for death in service benefits which equates to a minimum of one times your annual salary.

Voluntary benefits:

All employees have access to a comprehensive voluntary benefits package which includes various insurance options such as income protection and critical illness as well as lifestyle choices such as shopping, travel and leisure discounts.

Sharesave:

Having completed three months service employees become eligible to join the Sharesave scheme. This enables company shares to be purchased at a discounted rate by saving a set amount of money each month over a fixed time period.

Company healthcare scheme:

Some employees are eligible to enrol in the company’s private healthcare scheme. The cost of cover is met by UK Mail and acts as a taxable benefit. Cover can also be extended to your family at an additional minor personal cost.

Healthcare cashplan:

All staff can subscribe to the Paycare Healthcare Cashplan through which deductions are made via payroll for a cash benefit to help with medical bills. Subscribers to the scheme enjoy 100% refunds on all treatments up to an agreed annual limit across a diversity of medical bills including optical, dental, hospital, specialist consultations, professional therapy and health screening.

Childcare vouchers:

Eligible employees can make significant savings on childcare costs via this scheme which allows you to purchase vouchers tax-free through direct deductions from your salary. They are widely accepted throughout the UK in a variety of childcare establishments.

Long service awards:

We value loyalty which is why we recognise and reward individuals’ commitment to the company. Longstanding employees are awarded with a choice of gift from an online catalogue featuring hundreds of products, on the achievement of certain set milestones.

Free eye care:

Vouchers are available to contribute towards the cost of employee eye tests for staff that use a pc as part of their day to day duties.

Holiday entitlement:

UK Mail offers a comprehensive holiday entitlement which can increase with service up to a maximum of 25 days per year for a full time employee.

Company workwear:

Some employees are expected to wear corporate clothing when undertaking their day-to-day duties. Where issued, this is done so free of charge to the individual and replaced as and when necessary.

All employees and their family members are able to access a free and confidential helpline or website offering expert advice and specialist counselling and support to help you cope with major and traumatic life events.

Healthline:

All employees can ring the BUPA Healthline for free and confidential advice from BUPA nurses providing up-to-date and accurate information on a range of medical conditions as well as giving guidance and support on health issues such as smoking and weight loss.

Workplace giving:

All employees can choose to set up a regular donation to their preferred charity via the payroll on a monthly basis. This is a tax efficient way of ensuring that your local Scout Hut or a multinational charity, such as Oxfam, benefits the most from your donation.

Company sick pay:

Employees are entitled to be paid full salary in the event of being off sick provided they produce the relevant documentation. The number of weeks depends on an employee’s length of service and starts to accrue from six months onwards.
